CEREMONY Paid Subscription Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 14, 2025

These Paid Subscription Terms ("Terms") apply to your use of the CEREMONY platform, operated by Zen Compass, Inc. ("Zen Compass," "we," "our," or "us"), when you purchase any paid subscription to a CEREMONY Guide's content. By subscribing, you agree to these Terms, along with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or continue a paid subscription.

1. Key Definitions

CEREMONY – Our platform, app, and website where users can access content from Guides.

Guide – An independent content creator who publishes content on CEREMONY.

Subscriber – A user with an active paid subscription to one or more Guides.

2. Subscription Structure

Per-Guide Subscriptions – Each subscription provides access to one Guide's paid content. You may subscribe to multiple Guides at the same time.

Pricing – All Guides are available at the same weekly subscription price, as shown at the time of purchase.

Term & Renewal – Subscriptions are billed weekly and automatically renew at the start of each new billing period unless canceled.

Start of Access – Access begins once your payment is successfully processed.

End of Access – If you cancel, you will retain access until the end of the current billing period.

3. Payment & Billing

Payment Method – Subscriptions are billed to your credit card via Stripe.

Billing Date – Payment is charged at the start of each weekly subscription period.

No Refunds – Payments are non-refundable, and no credits are given for partial periods, except as described in Section 7 (Guide Departure).

Taxes – Subscription prices include all applicable taxes, if any.

4. Content Access & Availability

Paid Content – Paid content is available only during an active subscription to the relevant Guide.

Free Content – Some content on CEREMONY may be available without a subscription.

Content Removal by Guides – Guides may remove content at any time. If you believe content was removed in error, you may email j.ceremony.works@gmail.com to request reinstatement. We do not guarantee content will be restored.

Usage Limits – There are no limits on streaming or accessing paid content during your subscription, unless otherwise stated in our Terms of Use.

5. Cancellation

How to Cancel – You may cancel a subscription at any time through your CEREMONY account on our website.

Effective Date of Cancellation – Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Multiple Subscriptions – Canceling one Guide's subscription does not affect your subscriptions to other Guides.

6. Guide Independence

Guides are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Zen Compass, Inc. We are not responsible for a Guide's personal conduct, opinions, or any obligations they may have to you outside of the CEREMONY platform.

7. Guide Departure & Refunds

If a Guide stops publishing content or leaves the CEREMONY platform, you may request a refund for the remaining portion of your current billing period by contacting j.ceremony.works@gmail.com. Refunds are issued at our discretion.

8. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy between you and Zen Compass, Inc. arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of CEREMONY will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court. By agreeing to arbitration, you waive your right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its rules, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of CEREMONY after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
